• Easy-to-use declaration tool includes expert advice which guides the supplier to generate and maintain their substances declarations. Suppliers save time by generating one substance declaration for a product family which is manufactured from the same set of materials, and then attaching the list of part numbers in the product family. The tool highlights where the REACH and RoHS substances are found in hardware equipment, how the restrictions and declarations requirements apply, the exemptions, the Batteries restrictions and the Packaging restrictions. Following the expert guidance reduces the need for expensive sample testing under the new RoHS Directive.
• Electronic signature arrangements so that the supplier’s electronic records on BOMcheck are equivalent to paper records with handwritten signatures. Suppliers can also attach chemical test certificates PDF to validate their substance declarations.
• Suppliers receive e-mail notifications when the REACH, RoHS, Batteries and Packaging requirements change. Suppliers login and follow the expert guidance and easy-to-use declaration tool to update the substance declarations for their product family parts lists.

In return for these benefits, suppliers pay a low-cost subscription of 300 Euros in the first year and a reduced annual renewal fee in subsequent years. This fee enables all your customers on BOMcheck to access your substance declarations data for REACH, RoHS, Batteries and Packaging. You can also e-mail substance declarations data directly from BOMcheck to any of your customers who do not yet have a manufacturer account. Most suppliers also have their own supply chains. These suppliers can set up a free manufacturer account to use BOMcheck to gather REACH, RoHS, Batteries and Packaging substance declarations from their supply chains.
